## What should I put in a support message?

The right reference gets you the fastest answer. If possible, send it from the address verified for the domain, so we can find your account at once. Add:

- the **domain name**;
- the **order number**, or the **TXID** of the top-up when a payment is involved;
- the coin and the network, for example USDT on TRC-20;
- what you expected, what happened, and the exact error text;
- for a DNS question, the record you set and what a lookup returns.

Never send a password or a wallet key. We never ask for your password, your account number or your domain transfer (EPP) codes by email or chat.

## How do I correct a fact in the almanac?

Email support@dotalmanac.com with *Correction* in the subject, the page address, the sentence and your source. A registry document, a registrar price list or an IANA record is the best proof.

According to DotAlmanac's table of 225 extensions, 155 entries are checked against registry sources and 70 rely on secondary sources. A registry document that confirms or corrects one of those 70 is the most useful message you can send. We fix the page and change its date; no name is needed.

## Where do legal requests go?

Legal requests, such as a court order or a UDRP notice, go to support@dotalmanac.com with *Legal request* in the subject. Address them to DomaineGoat LLC, the operator of DotAlmanac.

We release the data we hold only when Panamanian law requires it (a Panamanian court or prosecutor's order), or in a UDRP case. Trademark disputes on generic extensions follow the UDRP, with a lock within 2 business days of a request from a UDRP provider. Abuse reports go to abuse@dotalmanac.com instead; the [abuse page](https://dotalmanac.com/abuse/ "How do I report abuse on a DotAlmanac domain?") explains the process.

> **Check who is writing to you** We never ask for your password, your account number or your domain transfer (EPP) codes by email or chat. Our messages come from a dotalmanac.com address. When a message looks odd, open the client area yourself instead of following its link.

## Contact: questions

### How fast does DotAlmanac reply?

Email replies within 12 hours, 7 days a week, including help with DNS, transfers and renewals. Each abuse report receives an acknowledgement with a reference number. Fraud on victims, phishing, malware and botnets are handled within 24 hours of a well-documented report; other complaints receive an answer within 2 business days.

### Is there a phone line or a live chat?

No. We answer by email only, which keeps a written record of every request. Neither address requires an account.

### Can I ask a question before I buy?

Yes. Write to support@dotalmanac.com without an account. Many answers are already in the [FAQ](https://dotalmanac.com/faq/ "What should I know before I choose and buy a domain?"), and the [pricing page](https://dotalmanac.com/pricing/ "How much does a domain name cost per year?") lists every extension with its renewal price.

### My top-up has not arrived. What should I send?

Email support@dotalmanac.com with four details: TXID, coin, network and amount sent. We credit a top-up once its network confirms it. Tell us in the first line if you used a network other than the one shown.

**Looking for a name?** Search it in every extension and see its first-year and renewal price. [Search a domain](https://dotalmanac.com/app/domains/?lang=en) · [See pricing](https://dotalmanac.com/pricing/ "How much does a domain name cost per year?")
