The uses forbidden on any DotAlmanac domain, the duties that come with each domain, and how we enforce both.

**Quick answer — What is not allowed with a domain from DotAlmanac?**

Under this policy of 29 October 2026, 5 uses are forbidden on every domain: phishing, botnets, malware, child sexual abuse material and any fraud that takes money from victims. A well-documented report leads to action within 24 hours of a well-documented report. Trademark disputes go to the UDRP. DotAlmanac applies the same rules with or without Domain protection.

## 1. Scope

DotAlmanac is a domain extension guide and registrar: compare every extension, then register it with no KYC and pay in crypto. It is operated by DomaineGoat LLC, incorporated in Panama. Domains are registered through our ICANN-accredited registrar partner.

This policy covers all domains bought, renewed or moved in through DotAlmanac, the DNS and forwarding we run for them, and all accounts. The [terms of service](https://dotalmanac.com/legal/terms/ "Terms of service") include it by reference. Each registry enforces its own policy as well, on the extension it runs.

## 2. Forbidden uses

You may not use a domain, its DNS or its forwarding for:

- **phishing**: fake pages, emails or DNS answers built to steal logins, payment details or wallet keys;
- **malware**: serving, spreading or controlling software that infects, locks or spies on devices;
- **botnets**: command-and-control servers and the domains a botnet uses to reach them;
- **fraud that takes money from victims**: fake shops, investment or crypto scams, wallet drainers, and impersonation of a bank, a brand or a public body;
- **child sexual abuse material**, in any form.

Spam that carries one of these abuses is treated as that abuse. The domain's email forwarding may not be used to relay it.

## 3. How each case is handled

| Case | How it reaches us | Timing |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Phishing, malware, botnets, fraud on victims | A report to abuse@dotalmanac.com | Action within 24 hours of a well-documented report |
| Child sexual abuse material | A report to abuse@dotalmanac.com | Handled immediately, with a report to the competent hotline or authority |
| Trademark dispute | A UDRP complaint filed with an approved provider | Domain locked within 2 business days of a request from a UDRP provider |
| Any other complaint | A report to abuse@dotalmanac.com | Reply within 2 business days |

## 4. Your duties as a customer

You are responsible for the content and use of each domain you register, and for following the law that applies to you. A domain registered through DotAlmanac does not change that law.

Each domain needs one email address that works and that you read. the registrant email is verified after registration, as ICANN rules require (within 15 days). If the address is not verified, the domain can be suspended until it is. Keep it working for as long as you hold the domain.

Registry rules bind you too. For example, .app and .dev sites must be served over HTTPS, and .ai is registered for 2 years at least.

## 5. Domain protection

[Domain protection](https://dotalmanac.com/what-is-domain-protection/ "What is domain protection, and do I need it?") (+$29 per year and per domain, added to the domain price) gives no exemption from this policy. With the option, every complaint is read by a person before any action on the domain; this review exists only for domains with Domain protection. The forbidden uses, the timings and the UDRP apply in the same way.

## 6. Data and disclosure

Enforcing this policy does not mean handing your data to the person who complains. We release the data we hold only when Panamanian law requires it (a Panamanian court or prosecutor's order), or in a UDRP case. The details are in the [privacy policy](https://dotalmanac.com/legal/privacy/ "Privacy policy").

## 7. Reports and changes

Reports go to abuse@dotalmanac.com, with no account needed; the [abuse page](https://dotalmanac.com/abuse/ "How do I report abuse on a DotAlmanac domain?") lists what a useful report contains. Questions about this policy go to support@dotalmanac.com.

This policy changes when ICANN rules or registry rules change, and the current version carries the date shown at the top. For prices, see the [pricing page](https://dotalmanac.com/pricing/ "How much does a domain name cost per year?").
